Sri Vijaya Puram, June 11: The Zonal Fisheries Officer, South Andaman, has prepared a list of Mechanized Motorized (MM) Fishing Vessels proposed for cancellation of registration following verification of the available records and assessment of the present physical status of the vessels concerned.
The list of vessels proposed for cancellation of registration is published on the official website of A&N Administration (https://andamannicobar.gov.in/), the website of Department of Fisheries (https://anifisheries.andamannicobar.gov.in) and Notice boards of Zonal Fisheries Office, South Andaman and Fish Landing Centre, Junglighat for information of vessel owners, operators, and other stakeholders. Any person having objections, claims, or relevant information with respect to any vessel included in the list may submit a representation, along with supporting documents, to the Zonal Fisheries Office, South Andaman, within 7(seven) days from the date of publication of this notice.
All concerned are requested to carefully examine the published list and submit their objections, claims, or relevant information, if any, within the prescribed period. No representation received after the expiry of the stipulated period shall be entertained.
