Sri Vijaya Puram, June 02: The business community of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Mr. A. Mehrzad, a resident of Garacharma and a respected figure associated with trade and commerce in the Islands.
Mr. Mehrzad served as the Former General Secretary and Executive Member of the Andaman Nicobar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ANCCI) and was widely recognized for his dedication, leadership, and significant contributions to the growth and development of the business sector in the Islands.
Paying tribute to the departed leader, TSG Bhasker, Past President of ANCCI, said that Mr. Mehrzad was known for his articulate nature, warm personality, hardworking spirit, and friendly approach. He noted that Mr. Mehrzad earned the respect and affection of colleagues, businessmen, and members of the public through his sincere efforts and commitment to community service.
Describing his passing as an irreparable loss, Bhasker stated that the business fraternity has lost a valuable member whose contributions and guidance will be remembered for years to come.
The Chamber also conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for strength and courage to help them overcome this difficult time. Prayers were offered for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
Mr. Mehrzad’s demise has been widely mourned by members of the business community, friends, associates, and well-wishers across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
