
Sri Vijaya Puram, May 19: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IndianOil) has assured the public that the supply of Petrol (MS), Diesel (HSD) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands continues without any interruption despite prevailing global uncertainties affecting the oil and gas sector.
According to IndianOil, the Corporation remains fully prepared to ensure seamless fuel availability through its extensive supply network, which includes terminals, LPG bottling plants and retail outlets across the Islands. Fuel dispensing operations are continuing smoothly at all outlets, and supplies are being maintained without any restrictions while adhering to prescribed safety and operational norms.
The Corporation informed that adequate stocks of petroleum products are available throughout the supply chain, and replenishment activities are being carried out continuously to efficiently meet genuine consumer demand. LPG supplies to domestic consumers are also being maintained normally, with deliveries progressing smoothly across the Union Territory.
IndianOil further stated that it is maintaining close coordination on logistics, stock positioning and distribution planning to ensure uninterrupted energy access to citizens. The overall supply situation remains stable and is under constant monitoring.
Appealing to the public to avoid panic buying, the Corporation requested citizens to continue with normal purchasing behaviour. The public has also been advised to rely only on official communications for authentic and verified information regarding fuel availability.
