Sri Vijaya Puram, May 18:Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Lieutenant Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands & Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency joined virtually for the signing of MoU between A&N Administration and Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, GoI to strengthen the effective implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0 in the presence of Shri C R Paatil, Minister of Jal Shakti. Initiative focuses on safe and sustainable rural drinking water, robust monitoring, source sustainability, water quality surveillance, digital governance, and community ownership with the aim of achieving Har Ghar Jal certification for every Gram Panchayat of A&N Islands.
