Sri Vijaya Puram, May 15: The Deputy Education Office, Wimberlygunj, has organized a one-month Summer Coaching Camp featuring various sports activities such as football, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton for school students of the Wimberlygunj Zone from 15 May 2026 to 15 June 2026. The initiative aims to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and skill development among students.
Dr. Manoharan, Deputy Education Officer, Wimberlygunj, graced the inaugural occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. Biswanath Sen, Assistant Director (PE/Sports), Wimberlygunj, attended the programme as the Guest of Honour, while Mr. Abdul Basheer, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Kanyapuram, was present as the Special Guest.
Around 80 students registered and participated in the inaugural session of the coaching camp. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and sports enthusiasts, marking a positive beginning to the summer sports activities in the zone.
