Port Blair, June 09: The PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Administrator to consider a center at Port Blair for conducting examinations for various posts of Railway Board. Giving justification, Sharma has written that though the AN Administration and the Pradesh Congress committee, ANI are trying their best to draw the attention of the Union Government for sorting out the problems of increasing unemployment problems of these islands and have submitted many suggestions before the Government and awaiting for the best but till such time a suitable consideration is received, if an examination center for appearing in the various posts of Railway Board is considered as a welfare measure, many aspirants, who due to financial and other problems can not go to mainland for this purpose but are very much capable to come out sucessfully, can appear and try their luck and may get suitable jobs in Indian Railways. Sharma has also requested to consider opening of examination centres for other job oriented competitive examinations also at Port Blair.
