Sri Vijaya Puram, May 03: Mr. Manojit Halder, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Harinagar, met Mr. Koushik Roy , Regional Provident Fund Commissioner–II, Vijoy Puram at his office.
The meeting focused on welfare measures for labourers engaged under various works of the Gram Panchayat. Mr. Halder discussed the process for opening EPF accounts for eligible workers to ensure social security benefits at the grassroots level.
Mr. Koushik Roy gave a patient hearing and assured full cooperation. He stated that all possible steps will be taken to facilitate the enrollment of panchayat-level labourers under EPF and to extend necessary support to Gram Panchayat Harinagar.
The Pradhan thanked the Regional P.F. Commissioner for his positive response towards the welfare of rural workers.
