Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 26: Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Lt. Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency participated in the Chintan Shivir organized by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports being held at Srinagar chaired by Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State, Mrs. Raksha Nikhil Khadse with focus on preparing an effective roadmap for Youth engagement through MY Bharat. Lt. Governor apprised on the recently concluded National Surfing & SUP Championship in Little Andaman under World Surf League. Lt. Governor also urged for a National Maritime Sports Policy, where marine sports can evolve into a multi-sectoral growth engine driving sporting excellence, enhancing tourism competitiveness and advancing Blue Economy.
