
Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 22: The Inner Wheel Club of Port Blair, under the leadership of President Pallavi Gupta, successfully conducted a meaningful sports development initiative at RGT School, focusing on empowering underprivileged children donating skating kits.
As part of the project, skating kits were distributed to young beneficiaries, with a larger vision to support children under the sports authority of India (SAI) Group initiative. The program aims to encourage sports participation, discipline, and confidence among youth.
The event was conducted in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI). Notably, Ms. Radha, a dedicated skating and yoga teacher, state-level champion, and gold medalist, will be training the children free of cost. President Pallavi Gupta expressed her happiness over this collaboration, stating that such joint efforts will help nurture talent and may produce future champions for the nation.
ISO Vaishakhi Khurana emphasized the importance of youth development, stating that when young minds are guided properly, they become more confident and focused on their careers. Past President Bakhtawar Noble also shared that investing in youth development naturally leads to building a stronger and more confident society.
President Pallavi Gupta highlighted that providing opportunities and resources like skating kits to underprivileged children helps in boosting their confidence, awareness, and overall personality development. She appreciated Ms. Radha’s dedication and commitment towards training children and expressed pride in having such a passionate mentor associated with the project.
She further added that the Inner Wheel Club of Port Blair will continue to undertake more such initiatives in the future, with a vision to strengthen the nation through sports and youth empowerment.
