Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 05: The Department of AH&VS conducted a comprehensive veterinary outreach camp at Hanspuri village recently. During the visit, the veterinary team collected blood samples from livestock for sero-monitoring, distributed essential medicines to animal owners, and provided fodder seeds to interested farmers for cultivation. Farmers were also briefed in detail about various schemes and benefits offered by the Department. A total of 32 animals, mostly buffaloes, were ear-tagged under the National Digital Livestock Mission.
The team worked under challenging field conditions, with many cattle and buffalo owners finding it difficult to handle their animals. Despite these difficulties, the veterinary staff completed all planned activities with full dedication.
