
Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 27: A grand Sri Ram Navami Shobha Yatra was successfully organized on 26th March 2026 by Hindu Seva Sangh in association with Hindu Rashtra Shakti and Rashtriya Hindu Sanghatan. The yatra commenced from Chunabatta Sri Ram Mandir and culminated at Basanti Puja Ground, Chouldari.
Huge gathering of marking thousands of devotees enthusiastically participated in the procession, showcasing immense devotion and unity. The beautifully adorned idol of Lord Ram was the main attraction of the rally, drawing attention and devotion from participants and onlookers alike.
The event concluded at Chouldari Ground with the ceremonial launch of an ambulance by Hindu Seva Sangh. The launch was carried out by Dr. Avijit Roy, Deputy Director Health, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, in the esteemed presence of Sri Prakash Adhikari, Adhykash , South Andaman, Sri Abhay Kumar, President, Hindu Seva Sangh, Sri. D N Madhu , President , RHS and Mr. Anghsuman Roy , Youth President, HRS, Mr.Yagambaram, Pradhan , Calicut ,
A felicitation ceremony was also organized during the program, where 12 individuals from various walks of life were honored for their dedicated service towards society and the Hindu community.
Dr. Avijit Roy, appreciated the efforts of Hindu Seva Sangh, for launching of Ambulance and emphasis on continuing such efforts in the coming days.
Mr. Prakash Adhikari, Adhyaksh appraised the gathering about the efforts and dedication of Hindu Seva Sangh along with the other like minded organisation for conducting public related works and humanitarian works along with religious work for the islanders.
During his address, the President of Hindu Seva Sangh, Sri Abhay Kumar, highlighted the overwhelming participation of Ram Bhakts in large numbers, both in the rally and the concluding program. He especially appreciated the dedication and tireless efforts of the core members of Hindu Seva Sangh, since 2018, describing them as the backbone of the Sanghatan and acknowledging their crucial role in the successfully organizing this mega event every year.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Sri Abhay Kumar, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Police Department for their continuous support and commendable efforts in ensuring the smooth and peaceful conduct of the yatra.
