
Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 26: In a moment of great pride for the Car Nicobar Islands, Ms. Namita Voilet, a trainee of the Sports Authority of India (SAI) STC, Car Nicobar, has brought laurels to the nation by winning a Silver Medal at the prestigious Asian Track Cycling Championship. The championship is being held at the Tagaytay City Velodrome, Philippines, from 25th to 31st March 2026, where she represented India with outstanding performance and determination. Ms. Namita Voilet secured the Silver Medal in the Women’s Junior Team Sprint Event, along with her teammates: Aabha Soman (Maharashtra), A. Jai Jyotshna, Thabitha S (Tamil Nadu)
