Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar. 24: The Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council (SVPMC), in its continued commitment to orderly urban management and public convenience, has developed a dedicated open market space at Junglighat for street vendors who traditionally carry out vending activities on Sundays.
All local vendors are hereby welcomed and encouraged to utilise this newly designated vending space as an organised open market, subject to adherence to all applicable norms and rules.
The marking of vending spaces including numbering will be completed by 26.03.2026. Tokens for allotment of vending spaces shall be issued from 27.03.2026 from 9 AM for occupying the space on 29th March, 2026. Local farmers will be given priority during the allotment process.
SVPMC has invited all concerned vendors to make full use of this facility on 29th March, 2026, and extend their cooperation in establishing a well-managed open market for the benefit of the community.
