Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 22: Mr. Anoop Gopinathan has been nominated as Chairman, with Mr. Narasing Rao as Vice Chairman, Mr. Yash Pralakaha as Director, Mr. Mallikarjuna as Secretary, and Mr. Batchala Prasad as Treasurer of Mahavir International (MI), Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
In a significant expansion of its humanitarian footprint, Mahavir International Apex has officially established its newest center in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The announcement was made during a formal Shapath Grahan Samaroh (Oath-Taking Ceremony) held virtually this Sunday, dated 22nd March 2026, at 3.00PM marking a new chapter for social welfare in the Islands.
The new center will operate under the organization’s core philosophies of “Live and Let Live” and “Love All, Serve All,” focusing on community service and essential social initiatives tailored to the local needs of the islands. To spearhead these initiatives, a dedicated team of five office bearers and a 15-member Executive Committee has been appointed. The leadership team for Mahavir International Andaman & Nicobar Islands includes Anoop Gopinathan as Chairman, Narasing Rao as Vice Chairman, Mallikarjuna as Secretary, Prasad as Treasurer, and Yash Pralakaha as Director.
The ceremony, hosted by the Mahavir International Association, coincided with the organization’s Golden Jubilee year (1975–2025), celebrating five decades of service. The event was graced by international leadership, including Veer CA Anil Jain (International President), Veer Sohan Lal Vaid (International Secretary General), Veer CA Sudhir Jain (International Treasurer), and Veer Ratan Jain Phalodiya (International Director).
The Andaman & Nicobar Center is one of five new chapters established nationwide this year, alongside launches in Manipur, Assam, and Uttar Pradesh. This expansion underscores Mahavir International’s commitment to reaching remote regions and providing humanitarian aid in healthcare, education, environmental conservation, women’s empowerment, Gau Seva, and animal welfare.
