Mayabunder, Mar. 16: A new ambulance at Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder was inaugurated and flagged off by Shri Sushant Padha, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman in the presence of Shri S. Krishna Chaitanya, Additional District Magistrate, NMA, PRI members, hospital officials and staff.
The induction of the new ambulance is expected to further strengthen the emergency medical response and patient transportation services in the region. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of augmenting healthcare infrastructure to ensure timely medical assistance to the residents, particularly in the remote areas of the district.
The event witnessed the participation of PRI representatives, hospital officials and staff, who appreciated the initiative and reiterated their commitment to improving healthcare services in the district.
The addition of this life-saving vehicle will contribute towards enhancing Emergency Medical Services and ensuring better and more accessible healthcare services for the community.
