Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 05: Health4U Multispeciality Clinic, Junglighat, in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services Andaman & Nicobar Islands (DHS), successfully organized Free Multispeciality Health Camps at the Urban Health & Wellness Centre Dairy Farm on 05 March 2026 and at the Urban Health & Wellness Centre Haddo on 26 February 2026.
The camps received an encouraging response from the local community, with more than 100 patients benefiting from the initiative. Patients were screened and consulted for a wide range of health conditions including Diabetes, Thyroid Disorders, Hypertension, and several communicable as well as non-communicable diseases. The initiative aimed to promote early detection, timely medical intervention, and increased awareness about preventive healthcare among the public.
The consultations and medical assessments were conducted under the expert supervision of Dr. Sumit Rakshit (MBBS, MD – Internal Medicine), who provided clinical evaluation, medical advice, and guidance on lifestyle modification and disease prevention.
Expressing his appreciation, Dr. Kunal Roy, Director of Health4U Multispeciality Clinic, extended his sincere gratitude to the Directorate of Health Services, participating doctors, healthcare workers, and support staff for their cooperation and dedication in ensuring the successful completion of the health camps.
Dr. Roy emphasized that community-based health initiatives play a crucial role in strengthening the public healthcare system by making quality medical services accessible to a larger section of society.
