Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 28: The National Conference titled ‘One Health Synergy: Integrating Human, Animal, Plant and Aquatic Life for a Sustainable Future’ concluded on Feb. 27 at the ICAR–Central Island Agricultural Research Institute. In his valedictory speech, Dr. A. K. Nayak, DDG (NRM), ICAR, New Delhi as the chief guest stated that the workshop focused on the critical elements of One Health. Dr. A. Velmurugan, ADG (SWM), ICAR, New Delhi; Dr. S. Dinesh Kannan, IFS, CCF (Wildlife); and Dr. Sunita Roy, Joint Director, Department of AH&VS also addressed the gathering.
Earlier, Dr. Jai Sunder, Director, ICAR–CIARI, and President, Andaman Science Association welcomed the gathering.
