Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 30:A State-Level training programme on “Solar Rooftop Planning & Implementation in Gram Panchayats” along with a workshop on “Building Plan Permission and AMC of streetlights in Gram Panchayats” was conducted today by the Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, A&N Administration at the SPRC Training Hall, Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, Marine Hill, Sri Vijaya Puram.
The technical session on Solar Rooftop Planning & Implementation in Gram Panchayats was conducted by Shri Akash Kumar, JE (NRSE), who provided detailed insights into planning, technical feasibility, and implementation processes of solar rooftop systems at the Panchayat level.
Smti. Sangeetha Kumari, AE (NRSE) explained about maintenance mechanisms, efficiency measures, and best practices for ensuring uninterrupted public lighting services in rural areas during the session on AMC of streetlights in Gram Panchayats.
A dedicated workshop on Building Plan Permission was conducted by Shri M. Balamurugan, Town & Country Planner, APWD, who sensitized participants on regulatory provisions, approval procedures, and the responsibilities of Gram Panchayats in building plan permissions.
