Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 28: Former Pramukh of Mayabunder, Mr. Abdul Siddique, on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the tragic death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Ajit Pawar, who was among five people killed in a plane crash at Baramati earlier in the day.
In a condolence statement issued after the incident, Siddique described the crash as an “unimaginable tragedy” and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and the people of Maharashtra and the nation.
He prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and for strength and courage for all those affected by the loss. Remembering Ajit Pawar’s public life, Siddique said the late leader would be remembered for his commitment to public service and resilience.
“We stand united in solidarity, cherishing Ajit Pawar’s enduring legacy of service,” the statement said.
