Port Blair, May 16: A solemn function will be organized at the ‘Memorial of Battle of Aberdeen’, Water Sports Complex on 17th May 2013 at 9 am to pay tribute to those Great Andamanese who lost their lives during the “Battle of Aberdeen” fought in the year 1859.
Lt. Governor, A&N Islands will pay tribute to the heroes of Battle of Aberdeen by laying wreath at the Memorial. In this regard, all are requested to join in paying tribute to these heroes.
