Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 26: First time in the history of martial arts in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Pencak Silat was proudly included in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Beach Games 2025, securing its place as the only martial art discipline among the listed sports.
The event was held from 19th to 21st December 2025 at Carbyn’s Cove Beach, South Andaman District, Sri Vijaya Puram, and was organised by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Sincere gratitude given to the Director of Sports and all the officials whose dedicated efforts made this event a grand success.
Pencak Silat martial art is also included in the National Level Beach game 2025 last time and will also be included in the 2026 Beach game.
Heartiest congratulations to the 4 Gold medalists, 4 Silver medalists, and 8 Bronze medalists in Pencak Silat, and appreciation to all participating athletes for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship.
