Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 24: In an effort to bring the vibrant cultural celebrations of the Island Tourism Festival (ITF) closer to the public, the Directorate of Tourism, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has arranged live streaming of the cultural programmes through its official YouTube channel and other social media platforms.
Members of the public who are unable to attend the festival venue in person can now watch the live performances seamlessly by simply scanning the QR code displayed at prominent locations and on ITF publicity materials. The QR code will directly lead viewers to the official YouTube channel of the Tourism Department, where the cultural programmes will be streamed live.
The initiative aims to ensure wider outreach, enabling residents, tourists, and culture enthusiasts to experience the colourful performances, traditional dances, music, and artistic expressions presented by renowned artists from the mainland along with talented local artists during ITF, anytime and anywhere.
The Directorate of Tourism has invited everyone to make use of this digital initiative and be a part of the Island Tourism Festival celebrations by scanning the QR code and tuning in live through the Tourism Department’s official YouTube channel and social media handles.
