Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 15: To out carry emergency repair works onboard the vessel MV Lapathy presently providing service between Chatham & Bambooflat will be withdrawn from vehicle ferry service on 16.12.2025 AM onwards.
However, all out efforts are being made by this Directorate to rectify the defects and to resume the service at the earliest on top priority. It is therefore, informed to the general public that only one vessel will be carrying out the vehicle ferry services between Chatham & Bambooflat. The commuters are hereby requested to cooperate with this Directorate.
The inconvenience caused is regretted.
