
Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 02: Vidyanjali is an initiative of the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, which aims to facilitate the community and volunteers to directly connect with Government and Government-aided schools to contribute their services and/or assets, materials, and equipment through the Vidyanjali Portal.
In this regard, an Appreciation Programme for Volunteers and their Contributions was conducted at GSSS Oralkatcha on 02/12/2025 from 9:00 AM onwards. Mr. R. Alagarswamy, Zilla Parishad Member, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. He presented tokens of appreciation (as a gesture of love) to the volunteers who rendered their services free of cost for the beautification and whitewashing of the school walls under the Vidyanjali Promotion Programme.
A total of 10 volunteers received tokens of appreciation to encourage their efforts and social service to the school. A brief overview of the programme was given by Dr. Anand Kumar Chaurasia (Nodal Teacher) also highlighted the benefits of this scheme. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs. Selochana Devi, PGT In-charge of the school.
