Port Blair, May 12: The PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma and all the leaders have recorded their gratitude to the Lt Governor for enhancing the rate of snacks for students enrolled in Pre-primary classes of the islands since they are not covered under the National Programme to provide mid-day meal.
“The present Administrator is always there to take care of the interests of the students and children of these islands irrespective of schools and colleges, caste and religion. Examples are there when he has saved the lives of many children having serious health problems. This is he who has allowed free passes to the students and enhanced monthly stipend also. All the students and their parents must always be grateful to the Administrator and his officials of the the AN Administration,” Sharma said in a press release today.
