
Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 30: RGT Public Vidyalaya celebrated creativity, innovation and cultural diversity through its vibrant Science, Maths, Art & Craft Exhibition, held this year on the inspiring theme “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat.” Students showcased models, charts, artistic works, and mathematical concepts promoting self-reliance, sustainability and national pride.
Dr. Jai Sunder, Director, ICAR–CIARI, graced the event as the Chief Guest, and Mrs. Mangai Karasi, Councillor, Ward No. 10, PBMC, attended as the Guest of Honour. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed by little students dressed in colourful traditional attires representing different cultures, symbolising unity in diversity.
The Chief Guest inaugurated the exhibition and visited various stalls. He also interacted with the participants. The Chief Guest, Dr. Jai Sunder, appreciated the students’ efforts and proudly coined the term “Junior Scientists” for them. He encouraged the budding talents with insightful words on integrated education, stressing that science, mathematics, art, craft, and yoga together build a holistic learning foundation. He applauded their curiosity, creativity, and commitment to innovation Adding to the beauty of the event, the school organised a Flower Show and a Medicinal Plants Display reflecting the importance of traditional knowledge, herbal remedies, and environmental conservation.
The Guest of Honour, Mrs. Mangai Karasi, praised the overall exhibition, expressing admiration for the diverse displays and models. She also lauded the excellent management of the school, acknowledging the dedicated efforts of teachers and staff in organising such a well-coordinated event.
The programme concluded with a short cultural show followed by vote of thanks by the school Headmistress.
