Mayabunder, Nov. 28: The power supply disruption that occurred yesterday at the Panighat Power House has been successfully resolved, according to information received. The technical issue in the 1500 KV set has now been repaired, bringing relief to the residents of Mayabunder.
Acknowledging the swift administrative response, former Pramukh of Mayabunder, Mr. Abdul Siddique, appreciated the efforts of the authorities, particularly Mr. Sushant Padha, Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman. He also extended his gratitude to Mr. Krishna Chetanya, Assistant Commissioner (HQ), Mayabunder, and Mr. Kalipada Mazumdar, Assistant Engineer, along with the Junior Engineer (Electricity) and the team from the Electricity Department for their dedicated work.
Mr. Siddique stated that the officials worked tirelessly to restore the power supply and ensured timely relief for the public. He expressed sincere thanks to the Deputy Commissioner, N&M Andaman, and the Assistant Commissioner (HQ), Mayabunder, noting that the quick resolution would not have been possible without their constant monitoring and timely intervention.
