
Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 25: The Block Project Office, Diglipur, under Samagra Shiksha – Inclusive Education, organized the first-ever Divya Kala Mela and Divya Kala Shakthi 2025 in the Diglipur Educational Zone under the guidance of Mrs. Sulochana, Block Project Officer at Vivekananda Stadium’s Multipurpose Hall.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Rajendra Kumar, Block Development Officer, Diglipur, who lit the ceremonial lamp. CwSN student Ms. Nasima Khatoon delivered a warm welcome address. The programme was also attended by Mr. Manoranjan Mondal, CRC Coordinator, GSSS Kalighat, who appreciated the commendable efforts and teamwork of the Inclusive Education staff.
A key highlight of the event was the significant contribution of Ms. Nagwanti Kumari, a Special Educator deputed from the Block Project Office, Rangat, who facilitated communication as a Sign Language Interpreter and Trainer for students with Hearing Impairments. To support students with Visual Impairment, Braille-based art and craft labels, food stall boards, and models were prepared, ensuring full accessibility and inclusion.
Around 250 participants, including parents, teachers, students, and community members, witnessed the vibrant cultural performances featuring dance, music, poetry recitation, storytelling, speeches, group dance, and yoga demonstrations.
