Port Blair, May 09: The Linemen-Cum-Meter Reader Association of Electricity Department, A&N Islands felicities Mr. P.KANNAN, President, Mr. S.K. MAJUMDAR, General Secretary and other office bearers of Government Employees Federation, A&N Islands today at Sun Sea Resort Conference Hall, Middle Point, Port Blair for resolving their long pending demands including granting of Grade Pay of Rs.
4200/- to LMMRs, who have completed 12 & 24 years of regular service prior to May, 2004.
In this occasion, the General Secretary of LMMRs Association, Mr. M.Venkat Rao hailed the achievement made through GEF and expressed his gratitude towards the President, General Secretary and other office bearers of Government Employees Federation and their leadership. Mr. Abdul Hamid, Vice President, INTUC was the Guest of Honour in the function. The function was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. B.M.Sutradar.
