
Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 23: A two-day Free Health Camp was successfully organised on 20th November 2025 at Nayapuram, Wimberly Gunj, and on 21st November 2025 at Andaman Mahila Mandal, Sri Vijaya Puram, jointly by Andaman Mahila Mandal and Nai Manzil, NGO. The programme at Nayapuram was led by Mr. P. Abdul Basheer, President, Nai Manzil, who coordinated the arrangements and ensured active participation from the local community. The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp in the presence of Swami Shuddhananda Saraswati, President, Chinmaya Mission, Sri Vijaya Puram, who appreciated the initiative and emphasised the importance of preventive healthcare and community welfare. Sri S. R. Biswas, Joint Director, MY Bharat, addressed the gathering and highlighted the relevance of public health programmes, while Mr. Vijay Kumar Sadhu, CEO, DXN, Dollygunj, spoke about natural wellness and maintaining good health through discipline. Mr. Gopal Ch. Biswas, MY Bharat, encouraged the public to utilise such opportunities for their overall well-being. Mrs. Aneeta D, Social Activist, and Mr. Gorakhnath Patil, President, Maharashtra Mandal, were also present and graced the occasion. Representatives from Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology—Dr. Maheshwari, Principal; Dr. Nisha; Ms. Nandhini; Dr. B. Marimaran; and Mr. Shanmuga Marimaran—were present and extended their support. Around 180 persons from all age groups availed various services, including General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, OBG, Emergency & A&E guidance, and general health check-up, rendered by a visiting medical team from Rajalakshmi Medical College Hospital & Research Institute, Chennai, comprising Dr. Pradeep, Dr. Roshaki Sulthan, Dr. Satish Raj, Dr. Divya, Dr. Elangovan, Dr. Naveen Michael Raj, Dr. Rishoth, and Dr. Sathya. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Sunita Patil, Secretary, Andaman Mahila Mandal, and Miss Mala Barua, Treasurer, with dedicated support from executive members Mrs. Zeenath Bibi, Mrs. Tamalika Sikder, Miss Rajeswari, Mrs. Sindhu, Mrs. Shyamla, Mrs. Sunita Rahman, Miss Meher Nisha, Miss Gouri, Mrs. Tilgawathi, and others, who contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the health camp.
