Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 21: Keeping in view of pest & disease incidence in Rice cultivation, Central Integrated Pest Management Centre (CIPMC), DPPQ&S, Ministry of Agriculture & farmers Welfare in co-ordination with State Dept. of Agriculture conducted the Farmers’ Field School (Kharif 2025-26) to sensitize and spread awareness about IPM technology at Sitapur village, Rangat block, North & Middle Andaman. The programme was inaugurated on 11.08.2025 in the presence of officials of State Agri. department. IPM kits, literature and bio-pesticide (Pseudomonas) were distributed to the participating farmers on Field Day (19.11.2025). The Programme was concluded by co-ordinator Dr. Swarnavo Chakraborty, APPO(PP) with vote of thanks.
