Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 19: The Union Territory Level Bankers’ Committee (UTLBC) A&N Islands, will host two Mega Awareness Camps in Mayabunder and Car Nicobar on Nov. 21 under nationwide Campaign ‘Your Money, Your Right’ a three-month campaign launched on Oct. 4 by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance. The camps will be organized through Lead District Manager (LDM), N&M Andaman and Lead District Manager (LDM), Nicobar District. The initiative aims to expedite the settlement of unclaimed deposits and enhance public awareness on reclaiming dormant financial assets. In Mayabunder, the Camp will be taking place at Panchayat Hall, Gram Panchayat, Rampur from 10 AM and in Car Nicobar at Community Hall, Teetop from 10 AM. In Mayabunder, the Camp will be graced by Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Rampur and in Car Nicobar, Captain, Teetop Village will grace the occasion. Both camps will facilitate on the spot verification and settlement of eligible claims related to unclaimed deposits, insurance proceeds, mutual fund units, pension dues, and other financial assets.
