Sri Vijaya Puram, November 19: An Archery Coach was arrested last night on charges of allegedly molesting a minor school girl. According to reports, the coach, picked up the minor girl while she was on her way to school. Under false pretences, he took her to his official quarter where the alleged molestation occurred. When the girl resisted the assault, the coach subsequently had to drop her off at her school.
Following the incident, the victim promptly reported the matter to her warden, after which a formal complaint was lodged at PS Aberdeen. The police took swift action and arrested the Archery Coach.
A case has been registered against the accused coach under the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act). A detailed investigation into the matter is ongoing.
