Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 11: A day-long programme on ‘fostering synergies between rural youth and PRIs for sustainable community development’ was organized under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) by the Community Development Block, Ferrargunj, today at the Community Managed Training Centre (CMTC) building, Ferrargunj. The event aimed to strengthen coordination between Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and rural youth for achieving inclusive, participatory, and sustainable rural development.
The first session of the programme was conducted by Shri Rakesh Kumar, Executive Officer, Khadi and Village Industries Board, who delivered an insightful presentation on various schemes and initiatives of the Board. The second session was led by Ms. Deepa Biswas, Domain Expert (Livelihood), Directorate of Rural Development, who conducted an interactive and activity-based session focusing on team building and collaboration.
