Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 23:The Scheme for Residential Education for students in high Schools in Target Areas (SHRESHTA) is being implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India, as a Central Sector Scheme since the academic year 2022-23 to provide quality education to meritorious Scheduled Caste (SC) students by placing them in best-performing private residential schools across the country.
All Scheduled Caste (SC) applicants for the year 2026-27 have been informed that NETs will be conducted tentatively in December, 2025. The online application portal opened on Oct. 10, 2025 and will remain open till Oct. 30, 2025 (up to 5 PM). The correction window will be available on Nov. 1 & 2, 2025.
