Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 22: The India Reserve Battalion (IRBn), Andaman & Nicobar Police, is pleased to announce the launch of the “Police Soccer League – 2025” (PSL–2025) — an Open-to-All football tournament to be held at the IRBn Headquarters, Port Mout (Village), Chouldhari, South Andaman, commencing from first week of November 2025.
The initiative aims to promote sportsmanship, physical fitness, discipline, and camaraderie among the youth while fostering stronger Police–Public relations through the unifying spirit of football. The event will provide a vibrant platform for talented players from across the Islands — from rural panchayats to urban wards — to showcase their sporting talent and passion for the game.
The PSL–2025 will feature participation from local clubs, educational institutions, community organizations, and youth groups, ensuring a festive and competitive atmosphere. Comprehensive arrangements are being made for teams, referees, and spectators to ensure fair play and smooth conduct of the tournament.
To encourage wide participation, a nominal entry fee of ₹5,000/- per team has been fixed. Interested teams and organizations are invited to register on or before 31st October 2025.
