Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 21: In a commendable initiative to promote inclusion and equal opportunities in sports, the Wimberlygunj Educational Zone, under Samagra Shiksha, South Andaman, will organize a Block Level Inclusive Sports Meet for Children with Special Needs (CWSNs) on Oct. 23 & 24 at the Mini Stadium, Wimberlygunj from 9 AM onwards.
The two-day event aims to encourage the participation of children with diverse abilities and nurture their confidence through sports. Competitions for students from Pre-Primary to Class VIII will be held on October 23, while events for Classes IX to XII are scheduled for October 24.
The inclusive sports meet underscores the commitment of Samagra Shiksha towards creating an equitable and supportive environment for every child to explore their potential and celebrate their abilities through sports.
