Port Blair, Apr 29: The General Body meeting of “A & N Health Department Ward Attendant Aaya and Saafai Karmachari Association” was held on 27.04.2013 at 12.00 Hrs in the premises of Veer Savarkar Park under the Chairmanship of Mr. P.KANNAN, President, Government Employees Federation.
The General Secretary-of Government Employees Federation was also present in the meeting. Mr. M. Jothi, General Secretary of the Association welcomed the members and presided over the meeting. The members present in the meeting raised several issues before the authorities for early redressal.
Some of the issues raised by them were grant of Patient Care Allowance to all eligible employees of Health department, grant of uniform stitching charges at new rate prescribed by GOI, Issue of Shoes and liveries to Ward Attendant, Aayas and Safai Karmacharies etc. Finally, the meeting concluded with vote of thanks which was delivered by Mr. Marimuthu, President of the Association.
