On the historic occasion of the 25th Raising Day of the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC), I extend my warm greetings and felicitations to all officers, sailors, air warriors, personnel, veterans and their families.
Marking a glorious Silver Jubilee, ANC stands as a shining symbol of jointmanship, operational excellence, and national resolve. Over the past twenty-five years, it has transformed into a formidable force—safeguarding India’s strategic frontiers, strengthening maritime security in the Bay of Bengal and the Indo-Pacific, and contributing significantly to regional peace and stability. Its stellar record in operational deployments, humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and community welfare reflect its deep commitment both to the nation and to the people of these islands.
As the Command commemorates this landmark year, I call upon all ranks to rededicate themselves with renewed zeal and devotion to duty. With professionalism, synergy, and sacrifice as its enduring hallmarks, ANC will continue to soar to greater heights of glory, standing as a beacon of strength for the nation as we advance towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
