On the historic occasion of the 93rd Anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF), I extend my warmest greetings and felicitations to all Air Warriors, veterans and their families.
The illustrious journey of the IAF has been marked by valour in battle, technological excellence and steadfast professionalism, exemplifying the highest traditions of service of the nation. Upholding its proud motto, “Touch the Sky with Glory,” the IAF has remained a vigilant guardian of our sovereignty, ensuring the security of India’s skies with unwavering resolve.
Beyond its combat role, the IAF has consistently been at the forefront of humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and support to civil authorities bringing hope, solace and reassurance to countless lives. In the Islands too, its contributions in medical evacuations, inter-island communications, disaster response and community outreach stand as a testament to its commitment and compassion. Its initiatives in nation-building, including the adoption of villages, further reflect its deep and enduring bond with the people.
As the IAF celebrates this proud milestone, I salute the indomitable spirit, dedication and sacrifice of all who have served and continue to serve in its ranks. I am confident that, with synergy, innovation and an unyielding sense of duty, the IAF will continue to soar to even greater heights of glory as the nation advances towards the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
