On the sacred occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October, 2025, I convey my warm greetings and best wishes to all the residents of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, continues to inspire us through his ideals of truth, selfless service, and sacrifice. His timeless philosophy of non-violence not only guided our struggle for Independence but also offers enduring wisdom for building a just, peaceful, and harmonious society.
On this occasion, let us pledge to emulate Gandhiji’s values in our lives and strengthen the spirit of unity, compassion, and brotherhood among Islanders.
I wish that our Islands progress steadily on the path of peace, prosperity, and happiness, guided by the eternal values of truth and non-violence.
