Sri Vijaya Puram, Sep 24: On 23.09.2025, the Excise Team under the supervision of SDPO Diglipur conducted a successful raid at Fisheries Colony, Mayabunder, seizing a substantial catch of illegal liquor, which included 14 bottles of 750 ml IMFL, 01 bottle of 375 ml IMFL, 29 bottles of 180 ml IMFL, and 02 partially filled 750 ml bottles (approximately 200 ml each), along with a measuring cup.
This successful operation reflects the tireless efforts, meticulous planning and unwavering commitment of the team to curb the illegal liquor trade across the Sub-Division. The raid was carried out under the vigilant leadership of Mr. Ankesh Yadav, DANIPS, SDPO Diglipur with the dedicated efforts of team members PC/1532 K. Ismail, PC/2823 Soma Dey, PC/2563 Sushen Das and PC/1889 Subrata Biswas, whose professionalism and vigilance played a crucial role in the operation’s success.
