Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 23: As part of the nationwide celebration of Seva Parv 2025, initiated by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the Directorate of Art & Culture, A&N Administration, in collaboration with the Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC), will be organizing a Painting Workshop-cum-Competition on Sept. 26 from 9 AM onwards at the Girls Sr. Sec. School Auditorium, Sri Vijaya Puram. The theme of the Workshop is “Seva Parv – Viksit Bharat Ke Rang’ Kala Ke Sang”. Entries are invited under the categories of College and School Students.
Attractive cash prizes will be awarded to winners in each category of the Painting Workshop-cum-Competition, as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The winners in the College Students category will be awarded Rs.25,000, Rs.15,000 and Rs.10,000 for the first three positions respectively.
In the School Students category, the top three prizes are Rs.10,000, Rs.5,000, and Rs.2,500. Additionally, three consolation prizes of ₹1,000 each will be awarded.
In addition to artists and students, the general public is warmly invited to contribute to Seva Parv 2025 by participating in service-oriented activities such as cleanliness drives, heritage walks, community outreach, and cultural volunteering. Citizens are encouraged to document and share their contributions on the official portal https://amritkaal.nic.in/sewa-parv.htm and on social media using the hashtag #SevaParv, amplifying the collective spirit of service and national pride.
Interested participants are requested to submit their names and category of participation to the Directorate of Art & Culture by Sept. 25.
