Sri Vijaya Puram, Sep 16: The State Committee meeting of BJP, A & N Islands was convened today at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Bhawan, Middle Point, Sri Vijaya Puram at 10:30 AM under the Chairmanship of Mr. Anil Kumar Tiwari, State President, BJP, A & N Islands. In this meeting the names of different Morcha Presidents of BJP were introduced by Mrs. Nagalaxmi, State Secretary, BJP in the presence of State Office Bearers. The names of the Morcha Presidents were announced following the approval from the National President Mananiya Mr. J.P.Nadda, Mananiya Mr. B.L.Santhosh, National Gen. Secretary (Org.) and Mananiya Ragunath Kulkarni, National BJP Prabhari for A & N Islands.
Before announcing the names of the Morcha Presidents, Mr. Tiwari presented the performance report of his 75 days tenure in office. He informed that within 70 days of assuming the office he has visited almost all Islands starting from Diglipur to Campbell Bay. Similarly, during the last 75 days he had taken up various issues pertaining to various important matters including resolving power interruptions, starting of quarry operations in Hut Bay, allotment of land for PM Awas yojna in Campbell Bay, reconsidering Resident Certificate for concession in Ship Tickets for Campbell Bay residents, Issues related to Real Estate and other revenue related matters before the Lt. Governor, A & N Islands and the Chief Secretary for its perseverance. Mr. Anil Tiwari informed that most of above-mentioned issues have been either resolved or under final stage of approval.
