Port Blair, Apr 22: Federation of Responsible Tour Operators an association of tour operators of Andaman & Nicobar Islands which is formed with an motive to promote and regularize tourism in Andamans has lauded the efforts of the Directorate of Tourism and all the concerned from the Andaman & Nicobar Administration for organizing the 2nd beach festival and making it a successful event.
FORTO also extended their thanks to Sports Authority of India, Port Blair Municipal Council, ANIIDCO, Department of Industries, Forest officials and A & N Police and its traffic department and all other departments who have supported the beach festival.
FORTO has also requested the Director of Tourism to organize the beach festival in other beaches of the Islands and also make it as a yearly calendar event.
