Port Blair, Apr 21: Tamil Film “Kurivattam”, Produced by G Karthik Kumar and Directed by Murugananda, both local youths was released by the PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma at Dr BR Ambedkar Auditorium today.
After watching the film, Sharma lauded the efforts of the local youths for their endeavour of making feature film and wished them all success in future.
Sharma told that if given proper chance, guidance and financial support youths of these Islands can prove themselves in the field of film making and establish a film industry in these Islands.
Mr. Sharma also praised the Producer and Director for choosing best locations of these islands and said that if this film is screened at Mainland, many tourists will be attracted towards our islands.
“The Producer of the film has also acted in the film as villain and proved the role very worthy through his rough and tough personality,” Sharma said in a press release.
Apart from many dignitaries, Mr G Bhaskar, President Chamber of Commerce and Councillor G Rajendran were also present on the occasion.
