
Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 20: As part of its continued citizen outreach efforts, the District Administration, South Andaman, organized a Revenue and Awareness Camp Court at Community Hall, Pathergudda, which saw enthusiastic participation from local residents.
The camp was attended by the Tehsildar, Sri Vijaya Puram and officials from the Department of New and Renewable Sources of Energy (NRSE).
An informative session on the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana was conducted by the NRSE (Electricity) team in coordination with other departmental officials. The session provided insights into the scheme’s features, benefits, eligibility criteria, and application procedures, thereby helping participants understand the implementation process.
During the camp, the Tehsildar, Sri Vijaya Puram actively processed pending mutation applications. 10 mutation cases were successfully disposed off on the spot.
The District Administration’s continued efforts to provide multi-departmental services through such outreach initiatives have been widely appreciated by the community. These camps play a vital role in promoting transparency, enhancing citizen awareness, and strengthening participatory governance across the South Andaman District.
