Port Blair, Apr 18: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC in his letter addressed to the Director Shipping Services has requested him to open up a ticket counter providing Boat/ship tickets at Bambooflat Jetty as a welfare measure for the people of the area.
Mr. Sharma further added that to avoid excess rush at the ticketing counters of Port Blair a ticketing counter is urgently needed at Bambooflat Jetty, which is a long pending demand of people, living in the area.
Mr. Sharma further advocated that such arrangements will be beneficial to the public of those areas who have to come to Port Blair by spending their hard earned money on transportation and other expenses.
