Sri Vijaya Puram, July 30: Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to community welfare and public service, the TSG Charitable Foundation, under the leadership of its Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker, has donated Cold Mortuary Boxes to the Panchayats of Kadamtala, Nimbutala and Mayabunder.
The much-needed equipment was formally handed over to the respective Panchayat Pradhans in a ceremony, attended by local leaders, PRI members and residents. The cold mortuary boxes will help preserve deceased bodies with dignity and hygiene, particularly in remote regions where timely access to such facilities is limited.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. TSG Bhasker reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to supporting essential infrastructure and services across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. “This initiative is a small step toward ensuring dignity in death and easing the burden on grieving families. We believe in identifying grassroots needs and responding with compassion and action,” he said.
Panchayat representatives expressed their deep gratitude for the timely support and acknowledged the significant impact the donation will have on their communities.
This contribution is part of the TSG Charitable Foundation’s broader initiative to enhance healthcare and social welfare facilities in under-served areas of the islands.
