Port Blair, Apr 15: Mr. Shaukath Ali, Secretary, A & N Islands Forest and Plantation Development Corporation Employees Union vide his letter No: FPDC/2012-2013/23 dated 15th April, 2013 has recorded Union’s gratitude towards Lt Governor and PCC President Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma.
In his letter of gratitude, Mr. Ali has written that “All the members of ANIFPDC EMPLOYEES UNION and whole family express their gratitude to the Lt. Governor, A & N Islands and Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President, PCC for the efforts taken by them to get Rs. 5.50 Crores loan assistance released from the Ministry of Environment and forests for the payment of salary and wages of ANIFPDCL officers, employees and workers which is only possible because of their personal intervention”.
Mr. Shaukath in his meeting with the President, PCC has also requested him to persue the matter of releasing the proposed enhanced loan assistance of Rs. 17 Crores from the Ministry for the current financial year.
Agreeing to this, Mr. Sharma has recorded his pleasure to the fact that up to date payment has been cleared to the workers of the corporation and also recorded his gratitude to the concerned Ministry and Dr Shashi Kumar, CMD for their tireless efforts for the welfare of the employees of the Corporation and getting the balance loan assistance disbursed to the corporation.
